We live in incredible times. The world is so connected now that pandemics have become difficult to avoid. Dense cities call for extra precaution. I hope everyone, their friends and family, stay safe during this perilous situation. I know. We still need to shop for food. There's still dirty laundry. Spring is here, and now we have more time than typical springs to clean up.
Almost a Natural
As a matter of fact, our jumbo cart is a natural social distancing tool. In case you forget, use it ahead of you, and it covers a little more than half the distance that's recommended (6 ft). Even 4 ft. is better than none.
Easy Wheels and Loadrunner carts all come equipped with epoxy coating. It's a durable coat of paint. Like most steel products, the #1 enemy of shopping carts is the rain. Most of you know that, but extra precautions need to be taken to ensure your family remains safe. You can learn more about Easy Wheels here.
Your shopping cart goes where you go. Here are some tips to stay safe.
1. You've gotten used to washing your hands by now. You can use just about any of the same mild soap on our shopping carts. Again, it doesn't like water. Wiping it down will ensure the cart keeps serving your needs.
2. Liners are like masks, but for your food and clothes. Our Deluxe Liner (DLH227), is made of a heavy duty, woven nylon fabric. If you already own one, they are machine washable. Take care to tuck the straps in so that they don't catch on anything. Our Hooded CarryLiner (Model # CLH127) is a smooth nylon fabric. You can wash this like the way you wash your hands. If you're extra cautious, be aware that bleaching the fabric will cause it to lose its color. Long use will damage it as bleach is caustic.
3. If you're in the market for a Liner to protect your food or clothing, go with the cheaper Hooded Jumbo CarryLiner (CLH127 - Fits Jumbo and Medium carts) or CLH003 (Mini). After all, if you do laundry at a laundromat, it wouldn't exactly help your cause to have to wash the bag that holds the stuff you need to wash.
We recommend you wash your liner after using it outdoors while washing your hands. Soap and water you use for your hands works fine here.
